Our Scotch Beef is supplied by John Scott Meat. It is an unrivalled quality meat produced naturally from the lush green pastures of Scotland’s hills and glens.
The meat is produced in accordance with the Scotch Quality Beef and Lamb Association’s Total Quality Assurance Scheme. The Scottish farms operate to their stringent farm assurance standards covering all aspects of animal welfare, wholesomeness and trace ability. It is processed to strict quality assurance and food hygiene specifications which ensures the quality of the meat we serve is second to none in the world.
Our Scotch Highland Lamb is supplied by John Scott Meat. It is an unrivaled quality meat produced naturally from the lush green pastures of Scotland’s hills and glens.
We have also recently added Romney Salt Marsh Lamb to our product range. This is supplied by The Rare Breed Meat Company. It is free range and has a rich sweet flavour with a real touch of quality. The distinct flavour is a direct result of the natural marsh land grazing over which the lambs roam freely in the summer months right through to the autumn. The natural grasses and samphire are free from any form of fertilizers and provide a totally natural environment for the sheep.
Jennings Butchers High Quality Pork
The pork that we sell in our shop is sourced from the best breeders in England. We are supplied by Packington Free Range Pork which is of the highest quality. It is a naturally reared meat and you will be able to taste the difference.
As members of the British Meat Quality Standard the pork from Packington ensures complete trace ability back to the farm of origin. They also embrace the highest standards of animal welfare and maintain these high standards at all stages of production, which are regularly inspected. This all combines to guarantee a top level of quality meat in taste and tenderness.
We sell a variety of cured bacon ranging from sliced rashers to full joint both smoked and unsmoked.
We now also sell the highly sought after rare breed Gloucestershire Old Spot.
Bread in their natural woodland environment ensures the meat they provide is tender, succulent, fine-grained and full of flavour.
The pigs fatten slowly on a natural, additive and growth promoter free diet in a stress-free environment.
They have a happy, semi-natural life and the result of which can be found in the flavoursome meat they provide.

Our free range, corn fed chickens are sourced from a variety of suppliers, including the Rare Breed Meat Company. We also sell free range ducks, geese and guinea fowl.
Our turkeys come from the award winning KellyBronze range. Kelly turkeys are produced by the Kelly family in Essex and they have gained a reputation for rearing the finest birds.
They were responsible for re-introducing the bronze feathered turkey, the original breed discovered in the Americas, back into the U.K in the early 1980′s. This breed of turkey is associated with old fashioned flavour and texture
